Shel Silverstein--Poet #3

Today's poet just might be my all time favorite, and he's a children's poet. Maybe that's an enlightening bit of information about me that I'd rather not delve into for now. Regardless, his work almost always makes me happy and sometimes makes me think. Occasionally, it sounds a little bell in my soul and resonates for hours. 

I hope you enjoy this selection from Shel Silverstein. I put it in my "Intro to Poetry" selection because I think Silverstein is just that--a great introduction to poetry.
